Overall Purpose of the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Levy for a finance professional to support a venue within the Stadia subsector. The candidate will business partner the venue General Manager and Heads of Department, working collaboratively with internal functions and external stakeholders. This role involves developing commercial acumen and operational decision‑making skills.

Key Accountabilities – Purpose

  • Business partnering with the GM and HODs to ensure strong commercial and operational decision making, managing financial risks and opportunities, and supporting operational delivery of budgeted sales, PBIT, margin, and client returns.
  • Deliver proactive financial analysis with summarised findings and recommendations for decision making, using dashboards from E15 Insights covering sales and costs.
  • Take responsibility for financial controls and processes for the venue—raising invoices, cash reporting, credit card reconciliation, reviewing the PO log, resolving suspense accounts, match‑day ETA’s, monthly R & A process, weekly flash process, and budget process.

Key Accountabilities – Performance

  • Deliver analysis of key business reports: dashboards, month‑end reports, business reviews, client reports, budgets, flash forecasts, and other ad‑hoc analysis for monthly/weekly reviews.
  • Monitor initiative delivery plans, challenge operational teams, highlight risks to the GM and Finance Business Partner.
  • Assist training of operational teams in business reporting and KPIs to improve financial performance.
  • Populate monthly balance‑sheet document for review, escalating key risks and opportunities.
  • Co‑lead budgeting and forecasting process with the GM, ensuring signed‑off processes with the operational team.
  • Attend client finance meetings when required, reporting on client return and addressing contract issues.
  • Participate in future planning and strategic decision‑making.
  • Present on match days; evenings and weekends are required throughout the season (May to September).

  • Possess experience in partnering operations and management accounting, including accounting adjustments and reporting for commercial decision making.

Desirable

  • Experience with SAP, Sage, and QuickSight for analysis and reporting.
  • Part‑qualified and working toward full qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
