Role overview

As a Finance Systems Analyst, you’ll be central to ensuring our Finance department’s systems are functional, efficient, and evolving. You’ll provide technical and administrative support, investigate system issues, and document processes to maintain optimal performance and appropriate controls. You’ll partner closely with finance end-users, IT teams, and external suppliers, manage system access, resolve queries, and support infrastructure needs. You’ll also be supporting our Finance transformation project, working with the latest Microsoft & Snowflake technologies, and aiding in implementing a new ERP system and Finance Data Mart as we build a world-class department.

Job details – you’ll need to have demonstrable experience in:

  • Undertaking core BAU duties that support operation of a finance department, including administering access to our systems, month-end activities, and maintaining appropriate controls across our estate
  • Work closely across Finance teams, IT, and 3rd party suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of end-user issues & queries
  • Assist finance team with UAT and sharing best practice
  • Assist with initial configuration of new systems and act as key contributor for the development of additional capabilities within the systems

Qualifications

Essential skills/experience:

  • Knowledge of database technologies e.g. SQL/Snowflake
  • High level of accuracy with the ability to reconcile large volumes of data
  • Able to explain technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills – ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Strong communication, listening and influencing skills (both internal and external)
  • Ability to create and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and the ability to multitask with a strong attention to detail and concentration
