Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

Core Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver highly effective A Level Computer Science lessons across all components of the course.
- Accurately assess, monitor, record, and report on student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Actively contribute to the ongoing development and resourcing of the departmental curriculum.
- Enforce and maintain high expectations for student conduct and academic performance in line with school policy.
- Participate fully in departmental meetings, training sessions, and whole‑school Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
- Implement targeted intervention strategies to ensure all students achieve their maximum potential.
- Foster a safe, stimulating, and positive learning atmosphere in the classroom and IT labs.
- Act as a tutor, offering pastoral support and guidance to a designated group of students.
- Proactively engage with parents/carers regarding student progress and well‑being.
