Electrical CAD Engineer – Defence & Maritime Projects
New opportunity for an experienced Electrical CAD Engineer looking to make a real impact in cutting-edge defence and maritime projects.
The Role:
Primarily focused on projects with maritime defence, you will be working within the Hardware Engineering team and playing a significant role through creating and reviewing electrical designs. The Electrical CAD Engineer will be:
- Using AutoCAD Electrical to produce and review schematics as well as developing component libraries
- Working closely and collaboratively with other engineers including providing support to electrical design teams
- Supporting creation of BOM
- Managing documents and ensuring drawing packages are accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant standards
Requirements:
- Proven background in Electrical CAD
- Ideally experience within Defence or Aerospace with knowledge of relevant standards (eg. Def Stans)
- Good communication and problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Eligibility for UK Security Clearance is essential.
