Commercial Design & Build – Cat A to Cat B Fit Out
Soho, Central London
Kenna Recruitment is working with a well-established commercial Design & Build fit-out contractor based in the heart of Soho, Central London. With a strong pipeline of Cat A and Cat B commercial fit-out projects, they are looking to appoint an Assistant Technical Advisor to support the technical delivery of schemes across London.
This role would suit someone with a solid grounding in UK commercial fit out, looking to develop their technical career within a fast-paced and design-led environment.
The Role
- Supporting the Technical Advisor / Technical Manager across Cat A and Cat B commercial fit-out projects
- Assisting with the review and coordination of drawings, specifications and technical details
- Liaising with architects, consultants, subcontractors and internal delivery teams
- Supporting technical compliance with Building Regulations and industry standards
- Assisting with RFIs, technical queries and design coordination issues
- Contributing to smooth technical delivery from pre-construction through to completion
About You
- Previous experience on UK commercial fit-out projects (Cat A and Cat B essential)
- Background working for a Design & Build contractor or main contractor
- Good understanding of technical detailing and construction methodology
- Experience coordinating with consultants and subcontractors
- Organised, proactive and keen to develop technically
- Able to work in a fast-moving Central London environment
