Health and Care Registered Manager

Location: Greater Glasgow

Salary: £31,797 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Additional Requirements: Applicants must have a full licence (2 years) and access to a vehicle. Successful candidates must register with the Scottish Social Security Council (SSSC) within 3 months of starting.

Day in the life of a Registered Manager

  • Leading the day‑to‑day running of a regulated Care at Home service.
  • Supporting staff and volunteers through supervision, training, and development.
  • Monitoring service quality, outcomes, and compliance with care standards.
  • Managing budgets, staffing levels, and ensuring person‑centred support plans are in place.

To be a successful Registered Manager, you will need:

  • SVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care and a PDA in Supervision (or equivalent).
  • Experience managing care services, including staff supervision and budget control.
  • Strong understanding of health and social care standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
