Nurse Nights

Purpose of Position

To support the Care Home Manager by providing excellent nursing care in accordance with each individual resident’s care plan.

Internal and External Contacts

• Internal: Operations Director, Care Home Manager, All employees within the Home
• External: Residents, Residents family & friends, GP/NHS, CQC, Safe-Guarding

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate care is given to each resident, in accordance with the Care Plan.
• Work with the Care Home Manager and Deputy Manager to continually review all Care Plans.
• Support residents with special needs relating to mobility and other physical disabilities, using disability aids where appropriate.
• Monitor and control residents’ nutritional and dietary requirements.
• Support residents with eating and drinking as required, preparing light meals and snacks if required
