Interim Director role at Starfish Search. Starfish Search is working with a small charity based in Sussex to appoint an experienced Interim Director. This is an exciting opportunity to guide this charity through a period of transition to drive sustainable growth.

Base pay range

This role offers a salary of around £70,000. The role is for 12 months and based in Sussex with on-site expectation of 2/3 days per week.

What you will have (Qualifications)

• Experience of being in a senior leadership post of 3+ years in a small-medium sized organisation.
• Experience of leading organisational change and development.
• Financial oversight experience of budgets £1m+, including but not limited to financial forecasting and/or risk assessment.
• Experience in oversight of business development, fundraising and diversifying income generation.
• Proven understanding and experience of safeguarding.
• Experience of understanding, holding and mitigating organisational risk, including but not limited to financial and governance accountability in line with Charity Commission practices.
• Track record of working effectively alongside a management Board, such as Board of Trustees, Governors or similar equivalent.
