Contract: ongoing

Hourly rates: GBP 22.00 (Weekdays) and GBP 26.00 (Weekends). CIS Available. Location: Castle Brom and Solihull.

Responsibilities

• Install and modify structured data cabling systems using detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
• Install cable containment systems, route and terminate data and power cables, ensuring compliance with recognised automotive and passive network standards.
• Test installations with FLUKE DSX:5000 equipment.
• Diagnose faults using root cause analysis and support wider site-based data projects.

Qualifications

• Relevant electrical regulations certification and site safety cards.
• MEWP licence.
• Own comprehensive tool kit.
• Previous experience in industrial or automotive environments and CCTV installations connected to corporate networks.
• Exposure to fibre termination, splicing, or testing considered a strong advantage.
