Residential Property Manager | Exclusive Role within a Private Family Office

On‑Site – London Region

Joshua Robert is delighted to be partnering with a distinguished private family office to appoint an accomplished Residential Property Manager. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who wants to step into a premium, well‑run property environment where attention to detail, professionalism and integrity truly matter.

You will be responsible for managing a carefully curated residential portfolio of more than 120 units. The properties are well maintained, tenants are valued and the internal team is highly experienced. This creates a platform where you can perform at your best, supported by a culture that genuinely cares about quality.

The role offers variety and depth. You will oversee the full lifecycle of each tenancy, ensuring a smooth experience from first enquiry through to renewal. You will coordinate maintenance, manage compliance, handle lettings activity, liaise closely with contractors and maintain high levels of organization across all documentation and systems. Every day brings something different, and you will have the freedom to shape how your portfolio is run while contributing to improvements across the wider team.

What makes this opportunity stand out is the environment. The family office operates with a calm, considered and long‑term mindset. You will not be pressured by unrealistic workloads or competing portfolios. Instead, you will be trusted to manage your properties with care, precision and professional pride. It is the ideal role for someone who enjoys ownership, autonomy and delivering a genuinely high level of service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a diverse residential portfolio of more than 120 units
  • Working with letting agents to minimise voids and attract quality tenants
  • Drafting tenancy agreements and overseeing onboarding checks
  • Handling deposit registrations, renewals, rent reviews and tenancy disputes
  • Coordinating maintenance activity and ensuring repairs are completed smoothly
  • Managing compliance for gas safety, EICRs, EPCs and building‑level audits
  • Serving Section 8, 21 and 13 notices when required
  • Assisting with county court claims and post‑judgment processes
  • Maintaining accurate records and compliance diaries on Qube
  • Supporting service‑charge budgets and financial accuracy across properties

We would love to hear from candidates who:

  • Have strong experience in residential property management
  • Understand AST legislation and compliance inside and out
  • Are confident using Qube and MS Office
  • Are organised, proactive and able to manage a varied workload
  • Communicate clearly and build positive relationships with tenants and contractors
  • Enjoy working in a close‑knit, supportive and professional environment

This role offers stability, long‑term progression and the chance to play an important part in a respected property operation where your contribution will be valued.
