Senior Credit Controller

We are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Controller to take ownership of the credit control function within a fast-paced, service-led B2B environment. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong financial control mindset who can both manage day-to-day collections and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end credit control process across a portfolio of commercial contracts
• Build strong relationships with account managers and clients to improve cash collection
• Review and improve current manual billing and collections processes (Excel-based)
• Monitor aged debt, escalate high-risk accounts, and reduce DSO
• Work closely with billing and finance teams to ensure accuracy of invoicing
• Support improvements in revenue recognition by aligning billing with contract delivery
• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practice

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Senior Credit Controller role within B2B services
• Strong understanding of contract billing (ideally FM or service-led environments)
• Experience working with manual or semi-manual billing processes
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
• Process improvement mindset with the ability to challenge existing ways of working
• Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff
