Planning Officer

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Planning Officer to join an expanding in-house Planning team. This team supports a diverse portfolio of major projects.

As a Planning Officer you will be working on a variety of large-scale programmes, ensuring the effective use of permitted development rights and securing planning consents in line with Town and Country Planning legislation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver planning consents projects
• Identify and maximise permitted development opportunities
• Advise project teams on planning and regulatory requirements
• Develop planning and consultation strategies for projects
• Work closely with communications teams on stakeholder engagement and consultation
• Build strong relationships with local planning authorities and key stakeholders

Skills and experience:

• Strong understanding of UK planning legislation
• Stakeholder management experience
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
