Robert Half is recruiting for a AI Integration & Python developer/engineer Role for a 12 Month contract. This role is a 12 month FTC ROLE: AI Integration & Python developer/engineer LENGTH: 12 Months FTC LOCATION: on site to start then 4 days a week. PAY: FTC The Role We’re working with a highly regarded investment management firm looking to hire an AI Integration & Python developer/engineer to support a growing internal initiative. This is a unique opportunity to join at an early stage of AI adoption, where you’ll play a key role in shaping how tools and processes evolve across the business. Key Requirements Supporting and maintaining existing Python-based processes and reporting frameworks Helping integrate and scale AI tools (including newly adopted Claude AI licenses) across teams Implementing controls and governance around AI usage Driving efficiency gains through practical AI adoption Providing hands-on support to teams while gradually moving toward a more AI-focused remit Key Skills Required Python (core focus) Postgres Docker (approx. 90% of the role) REST APIs & local databases Virtual machines Broader stack includes data processing, automation, and reporting tools What they’re looking for: Strong Python and infrastructure experience Solid understanding of APIs, databases, and containerisation Experience in a fund or regulated financial services environment (essential) Excellent communication skills (this role is highly collaborative) Interest in AI tools and their practical application in business workflows If this is of interest please apply or send CV to taryn.seidle@roberthalf.co.uk41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15…
