Senior Frontend Developer (Contract) Location: Fully Remote (EU-based candidates considered) Day Rate: £300–£340 per day Contract Type: Outside IR35 Start Date: ASAP uration: 3-6 months Overview We’re supporting a fast-paced digital product company, looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to deliver high-performance, SEO-driven web applications. You’ll work across the full frontend lifecycle, building scalable, user-focused experiences and contributing to architectural decisions in a modern, performance-led stack. Responsibilities Build scalable frontend applications using React (Next.js/Astro) and TypeScript Deliver high-performance, SEO-optimised experiences (Core Web Vitals, SSR/SSG, structured data) Develop clean, reusable UI components with TailwindCSS Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Marketing teams Contribute to frontend architecture and rendering strategy decisions Ensure cross-browser compatibility and overall performance optimisation Leverage modern (AI-assisted) development workflows to enhance productivity Tech & Experience Strong experience with React (Next.js and/or Astro), TypeScript, and modern JavaScript Solid understanding of performance optimisation, SEO principles, and rendering approaches (SSR/SSG) Experience building static sites and working within headless architectures Comfortable working with APIs (REST/GraphQL) and Headless CMS platforms Proficient with TailwindCSS or similar styling approaches Familiar with modern tooling, Git workflows, and component-driven development Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and the ability to validate generated code Nice to Have A/B testing or CRO experience Basic backend exposure (Node.js) Experience with testing frameworks41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15…
