Solution Architect

Inside IR35 | 6 Months | Brighton & Hove (Hybrid) | £595‑£637.50 per day.

I’m supporting a major client in Brighton & Hove who are kicking off a large data modernisation programme and are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with strong hands‑on capability across AWS, Snowflake, and modern data engineering tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data integration solutions across the AWS ecosystem (S3, Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, Step Functions, etc.)
• Lead architecture across a modern Snowflake data platform
• Apply dbt Core for modular, version‑controlled data transformation
• Design and implement CDC pipelines (e.g., Qlik Replicate)
• Build AWS‑hosted APIs and support secure cloud‑to‑on‑prem connectivity
• Work with cloud and mainframe database technologies
• Present architecture decisions and designs into governance boards
• Collaborate within an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) delivery team

Qualifications

• Deep hands‑on experience across AWS data services
• Strong Snowflake expertise
• Real‑world experience with dbt Core
• Strong understanding of CDC tooling (preferably Qlik Replicate)
• Proven experience designing cloud‑based APIs
• Knowledge of hybrid networking routes between AWS and on‑prem
• Confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Contract Details

• Start: Immediate
• Duration: 6 months
• Location: Hybrid – occasional travel to Brighton & Hove
• Rate: £595‑£637.50 per day (Inside IR35)
