We’re working with a fast-growing, global technology business that is scaling quickly and investing heavily in its finance function.
This is not a “sit back and maintain” role. This is a go in, take ownership, and make things better role.
You’ll be right at the centre of the business. Owning global accounting, reporting and controls, whilst leading an international team and working closely with the CFO and leadership team on growth, systems and expansion.
Think global consolidation. US GAAP. Process. Automation. Systems.
Responsibilities
- Owning the global close process, making sure reporting is accurate, timely and actually useful
- Leading and developing an international finance team, bringing consistency across regions
- Taking full control of group reporting, consolidations and multi-entity structures
- Driving improvements across controls, governance and audit readiness
- Working closely with auditors, advisors and external partners globally
- Getting into the detail of how the finance function operates and making it better
- Leading on systems and process improvements, including automation and ERP evolution
- Supporting cash, treasury and intercompany activity across multiple regions
- Partnering with FP&A and leadership on budgeting, forecasting and planning
- Giving the CFO real support on strategic decisions, expansion and potential M&A activity
There’s a team to lead, develop, and align. There are systems to improve. There are processes to fix.
It needs someone who enjoys building, improving and getting stuck in.
Qualifications
- Strong Global Controller / Head of Finance background
- Deep technical grounding. US GAAP, consolidations, multi-entity
- Experience in international, scaling businesses. Ideally Tech / SaaS
- Someone who enjoys fixing things. Systems, processes, controls
- Hands-on. Not afraid to roll sleeves up
- A leader who can build, develop and align teams globally
- Commercial awareness. Not just reporting numbers, but understanding them
