Job Title
Systems Safety & Reliability Engineer Placement Student – Filton
Key Responsibilities
- Functional Safety – System Safety Assessment, analysing aircraft systems to identify failure modes and support the Design Office to ensure compliance.
- Continued Airworthiness – Provide safety assessments for in-service occurrences on all Airbus commercial aircraft for the fuel & inerting and landing gear systems.
- Particular Risk Analysis (PRA) – Conduct PRAs for Wheel and Tyre Failure and Fuel Tank Safety, influencing global aircraft design.
- Zonal Safety Analysis (ZSA) – Inspect new designs and modifications digitally and physically to ensure compliance with design and safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Good systems engineering mindset.
- Keenness to learn and willingness to ask questions.
- Strong synthesis and writing skills.
- Flexibility.
- Rigour and organisation.
- Undertaking a degree in Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Undergraduate status for the duration of the placement.
