Our client is looking for Senior Project Managers experienced in Industrial, Defence, Manufacturing projects to support with Business Case developments.
START: ASAP DURATION: 12 MONTHS LOCATION: HYBRID – 70 DAYS ON-SITE IN BERKSHIRE OVER 12 MONTH PERIOD (MAY INCLUDE PERIODS OF FULL TIME ON-SITE) CLEARANCE: DV INSIDE IR35
Role
Supporting the initiation of projects and programmes, through the application of Portfolio Entry controls and business case development methods. Exploring and breaking down complex problems to develop strategic proposals for Investment Approval.
Specifically, enabling project and programme initiations, through the coordination of pre‑Concept studies that explore a problem or opportunity presented by a business area, and broadly understanding the solution space; to inform initial estimates of initiative scope, schedule and cost windows; determining appropriate delivery methodology and securing sanction to proceed and for initial resource (i.e. Standing Approval); whilst ensuring strategic alignment and prioritisation of the potential projects and programmes against the Portfolio.
Deliverables
Deliverables are relevant to specific initiation activities, and will include Business Cases, Stakeholder Maps, Project Categorisation Forms.
All produced deliverables are to be handed over to the Portfolio Entry team prior to exit.
