Senior M&E Project Manager
Location: Heathrow – Terminal 2
Salary: Circa £90k + Package
Overview
T2 at Heathrow Airport is installing its first dedicated bagged system. To accommodate this system, a section of the terminal is being refurbished with a target completion date of December 2027.
We are working with the building services contractor to oversee approximately £60M of MEP services, following the departure of the previous Senior M&E Project Manager. The role involves taking over the project during the late stages of the preconstruction phase and then managing install, commissioning, and hand‑over.
Responsibilities
- Lead self‑delivered works, managing project engineers, construction managers, and large teams of trades who report directly to you.
- Report to the head of the client’s aviation division, the end client and various stakeholders.
- Ensure that the project is delivered from pre‑construction through to hand‑over under an NEC3/4 contract.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience delivering large‑scale M&E projects from pre‑construction to hand‑over under NEC3/4.
- Background in rail, aviation, defence or marine ports is preferred.
- Trained as a mechanical or electrical engineer earlier in your career.
- Ready to integrate into the campus and work on one of the most prominent live projects during the 2027 H7 framework.
