Job Description:

We’re supporting a growing organisation to hire a highly experienced and strategic Cyber Security Manager. You’ll lead and mature their cyber security capability, safeguarding systems, data and customers, and helping the business stay ahead of emerging threats in a fast‑moving security landscape.

The role sits within a wider Governance, Risk, Compliance, Security and Internal IT function. You’ll shape and deliver the overall cyber security strategy, work closely with technology and product teams to embed security into day‑to‑day delivery, and lead a high‑performing security team.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead the design and delivery of the company’s cyber security strategy.
  • Manage cyber security risks, threats and vulnerabilities across the business.
  • Oversee security testing, threat modelling and vulnerability assessments.
  • Establish and maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed security into products and processes.
  • Drive security awareness and training across the organisation.
  • Lead, mentor and develop the cyber security team.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven leadership experience in cyber security within a regulated environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of security tools such as CrowdStrike, Sentinel, Purview, iBoss.
  • Solid understanding of security frameworks including ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOC 2.
  • Experience in risk assessment, incident management and vulnerability testing.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
