C++ Senior Trading Software Engineer : Derivatives

Exciting opportunity for a Senior C++ Software Engineer to join this Global Energy Company.

This is an exciting time to be joining this world‑leading company with this role working in one of the company’s premier software development projects enhancing trading capabilities.

You will be an experienced C++ Engineer with a background in building scalable Derivatives Algorithmic Trading Platforms.

You must have a demonstrated understanding of major global futures exchanges and knowledge of the full exchange‑traded derivatives trade lifecycle.

Key Experience Required:

• At least 5+ years professional C++ software development experience within the Financial industry
• Understanding of parallel, asynchronous, and multithreaded programming to build distributed systems
• Thorough knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data sets
• Strong technical skills in scripting, Python, PowerShell, C# and SQL
