What you’ll be doing
- Designing and evolving core platform infrastructure supporting production trading systems
- Building internal tooling across observability, build systems, and infrastructure automation
- Managing and optimising Linux-based environments across global colocations
- Operating and scaling on‑prem Kubernetes clusters and containerised workloads
- Partnering closely with engineering teams to debug complex, real‑time production issues
- Driving improvements in system reliability, performance, and scalability across distributed systems
- Observability stacks
- Distributed systems at scale
What they’re looking for
- Strong background in platform engineering, SRE, or production engineering
- Deep understanding of Linux systems, networking, and debugging at scale
- Experience building and operating complex distributed systems
- Comfortable owning problems end‑to‑end — from diagnosis through to resolution
- A mindset geared towards root cause analysis and continuous improvement
