Development Project Manager

We are recruiting for a London based commercial developer with projects across London, the South East and Midlands. The business is well funded with c. 5-6 projects at various stages. They are seeking a Development and Project Management expert to manage a small internal team across all stages of projects, including helping with due diligence on new acquisitions.

The Role

• To prepare, coordinate, and advise on technical due diligence for land/ site acquisition
• Initiate and run development plans across new projects
• Inspire and manage external project delivery teams – PMs, Planning, QS, Commercial
• Ensure proactive value-engineering across new and existing development phases
• Manage all project costs and financial management, including project reporting, board reports, programmes and budgets
• Deliver across all construction phases to ensure delivery against budget, quality, and time
• Assist on legal documentation including leases, licences to alter and lettings.
• Working with the wider investment and asset management teams on new and existing projects
• Lead on all technical due diligence across projects

About you

• The candidate should have prior experience in project management
• The candidate must demonstrate advanced analytical capabilities
• The candidate must be self-motivated and proactive with well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to work independently and with fellow employees as part of a transactional or project team.
• Entrepreneurial aptitude combined with a strong work ethic
• Thorough financial/ analytical skills for budgeting on excel
