Job Overview

hackajob is collaborating with OneAdvanced to connect them with exceptional professionals for this role. We are looking for a Support Engineer for our Extended Support Health & Care team, assisting with customer and technical issues across a range of county councils, hospital groups and national level health and care organisations. This is a hybrid role based out of Ashford, with the expectation that the successful candidate will attend the office 1–2 times per week, as required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as part of a technical support team handling issues with customer enquiries, clinical risks, and software issues.
  • Manage a diverse caseload of network and infrastructure issues, user queries and issues, database and environment problems, application issues, and critical outages.
  • Utilise resolver groups in combination with personal technical capability to resolve incidents, prioritise actions to mitigate clinical risk and financial penalties while maintaining a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Foundational experience with coding or SQL, whether gained professionally or through personal projects.
  • Ability to triage, prioritise, and resolve issues in a reactive environment while also coordinating proactive and preventative work.
  • Confidence communicating professionally with stakeholders of varying technical ability, providing clear, actionable guidance to help resolve complex issues.

Nice to Have

  • A baseline understanding of SaaS/PaaS concepts.
  • Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues.
