Ako Rolleston is seeking a committed and professional ECE Kaiako to join our team. Our centre is grounded in the philosophy of Ako – learning with and from each other, and we are looking for someone who values strong relationships, reflective practice, and high‑quality teaching.

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Builds warm, responsive relationships with tamariki and whānau
• Contributes to planning, assessment, and collaborative team practice
• Demonstrates professionalism and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
• Works confidently within a child-led, play-based philosophy

Full-time or part-time options can be discussed.

Requirements

• NZ-recognised ECE qualification
• Current NZ teacher registration (full or provisional)
• Must be a New Zealand resident/citizen or hold valid rights to work in New Zealand
• Clear communication and strong teamwork skills
