- Drive growth and expansion in the Lloyd’s market
- Build and own the Lloyd’s practice
- Develop strategy, capabilities, and future roadmap
Key Responsibilities:
Practice Leadership
- Own and define the Lloyd’s market practice
- Develop future strategy aligned to market trends (e.g. Blueprint 2.0)
- Build capabilities across the value chain
Client Engagement & Solutioning
- Work directly with clients to:
- Understand business problems
- Develop tailored solutions
- Actively contribute to and lead RFPs and solution design
- Collaborate closely with sales teams
Transformation & Technology
- Support business and technology transformation initiatives
- Understand future-facing technologies
- Bridge gap between business needs and tech delivery
Market & Regulatory Insight
- Strong understanding of:
- Lloyd’s market structure
- Delegated underwriting
- Syndicates and brokers
- Regulatory landscape (e.g. FCA)
Core Requirements
- Strong Lloyd’s market experience (business-side preferred)
- Broad exposure across:
- Underwriting
- Policy servicing
- Finance & accounting
- Regulatory environment
- Experience in solutioning / RFP leadership
- Ability to provide thought leadership on market trends
Preferred Background
Ideal:
- Experience within a syndicate or broker
Also considered:
- Consulting backgrounds (if strong market knowledge)
- Niche insurance consulting firms
