Support Worker

Position Overview

Support Worker – Lytham St Annes – £12.60 per hour.

Typical shifts: Early (08:00–15:00), Late (15:00–22:00), Wake Nights (22:00–08:00), Long Day (10:00–17:00).

Responsibilities

As a support worker you will:

• Help people gain more independence in daily life within a dynamic team
• Teach new life skills, assist with personal care, encourage community access, socialise and organise activities
• Work collaboratively within a supportive living environment in Lytham St Annes
• Support individuals with diverse needs, including mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and trauma
• Follow Positive Behaviour Support plans and engage in reflective practice

Qualifications & Experience

• Full UK driving licence
• Resilient, flexible, and composed approach
• Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice
• Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories, and trauma
• Female background preferred (as stated)
