McCarthy Stone are recruiting a Care Assistant to join the team at our Farringford Court development in Lymington.
Built in 2011, Farringford Court is a Retirement Living Plus development that consists of 42 apartments with the over 70’s in mind, providing excellent on-site facilities and set within beautiful grounds.
Hourly rate: £13.26 per hour, plus up to £1.30 for evening and weekend hours.
Hours: 24 per week.
About the role
As a Care Assistant you will provide the highest quality of individual care to our residents enabling them to live later life well. You will deliver housekeeping and domestic support across the general estate, including apartment cleans. Duties will be varied and include supporting and encouraging our residents to take part in a wide range of activities that support their health and wellbeing. You will help them to book appointments, arrange transport and escort them on visits and assist with their shopping. Every day will be diverse, and you’ll have the opportunity to use your people skills to make a real difference.
About You
- Warm, friendly individual with ideally some experience of working in a care or support environment.
- Passion for making a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people and enjoy working as part of a team in a busy setting.
- Driven to deliver excellent customer service.
- Want to work in the Health and Social Care sector and preferably have a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification, although consideration will be given to a candidate with alternative qualifications and relevant experience.
