Job Type: Full-time | Part-time | Temporary | Temp-to-Perm | Permanent

Salary: £140 to £261 (dependent on experience and role – paid to scale where we can)

Mana Education is proud to be working in partnership with a well‑established independent SEN Trust supporting four specialist school sites across Norfolk and Cambridgeshire. These schools provide highly personalised education for children and young people with a diverse range of additional needs in structured, therapeutic environments.

We are seeking dedicated and skilled SEN Teachers to join their specialist teams.

The Role:

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with complex needs.
  • Teach pupils with ADHD, ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition), SEMH and communication needs.
  • Support learners with MLD, SLD and PMLD.
  • Adapt the curriculum to meet Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists and healthcare professionals.
  • Implement and review EHCP targets, ensuring measurable progress.
  • Use positive behaviour strategies and therapeutic approaches to support SEMH needs.

Create a safe, structured and engaging learning environment that promotes independence and resilience.

About You:

We welcome applications from teachers who:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent UK experience.
  • Have experience working within SEN, SEND, SEMH or specialist settings.
  • Have taught pupils with ASC, ADHD, learning difficulties or complex needs.
  • Are confident differentiating across a wide ability range.
  • Understand EHCP processes and personalised learning pathways.
  • Experience in specialist schools, PRUs or alternative provisions is highly desirable.
  • Additional training such as Team Teach, Autism Awareness or communication-based strategies (e.g. Makaton, PECS) would be advantageous.
