Job Title: Junior Equity ETF Quantitative Trader

Locations: London | Dubai | New York City | Hong Kong

Compensation: £120,000 base + bonus (flexible; higher base for New York)

The Role

They are hiring for a Junior Quant Trader (entry-level to 1–2 years’ experience) to join a growing equity ETF trading team.

This is a front-office trading role focused on:

• Developing and refining mathematically driven trading strategies
• Applying statistical and probabilistic models to live market environments
• Analysing large data sets to identify inefficiencies and opportunities
• Working closely with traders, researchers, and technologists in a highly collaborative environment
• You will be given real responsibility early, with direct exposure to trading decisions and performance outcomes.

Candidate Profile

Required

• A first class academic degree (BSc, MSc or PhD) in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a closely related quantitative discipline from a top university is essential
• Outstanding problem-solving ability
• Strong mathematical intuition and analytical reasoning skills
• Competitive mindset with a genuine enjoyment of strategic games (e.g., poker, chess, strategy video games, logic competitions, etc.)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment

Strongly Preferred

• 1–2 years’ experience at a proprietary trading firm, hedge fund, or market-making firm OR (for a graduate) internship experience from a reputable quantitative trading firm
• Experience trading or researching equities or ETFs
• Exposure to systematic or quantitative trading strategies
