Electrical Design Engineer – London or Reading (Hybrid) – Up to GBP100k + bonus – Permanent

We re working with a fast–growing infrastructure and connectivity organisation that is expanding its in–house engineering capability. They re looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to lead the design and assurance of power and cooling systems across a diverse portfolio of projects.

What You ll Be Doing

• Leading the design and assurance of electrical power and cooling systems across multiple projects
• Acting as a technical authority to ensure compliance, buildability, and operational resilience
• Developing cooling and ventilation systems aligned to equipment loads and operational requirements
• Supporting the delivery of technical facilities, including equipment rooms and distributed infrastructure

What We re Looking For

• Experience in electrical design within telecoms, infrastructure, or mission–critical environments
• Strong knowledge of UK regulations and standards (e.g. wiring regulations, building compliance)
• Understanding of cooling and ventilation systems within technical or equipment environments
• Exposure to telecoms or network infrastructure environments is beneficial
