Executive Assistant to the Chief People Officer (CPO)
We are seeking an Executive Assistant (EA) to support the Chief People Officer (CPO) and our People team. The EA to the CPO provides high-level administrative support, manages a complex calendar, travel, and confidential personnel information. They serve as a liaison for the People Senior Leadership Team, prioritizing urgent matters to ensure the CPO operates effectively.
This position will be based in our Reston office.
Your Impact
- Calendar & Meeting Management: Manage an extremely active calendar, prioritizing meetings and proactive scheduling.
- Confidential Communication: Act as the primary contact for the CPO, handling sensitive personnel matters, legal documents, and labor-related issues with high discretion.
- Operational Support: Coordinate domestic and international travel, process expenses, and prepare agendas.
- People SLT Support: Assist the broader People Team with departmental trackers, project management, and reporting.
- Strategic Liaison: Represent the CPO to internal and external stakeholders, handling correspondence and inquiries independently when possible.
- Office Manager Duties: Welcome guests to the Reston office location, representing Anaplan as a leading category-defining SaaS industry organization and ensuring a flawless visit for all (i.e. preparing in advance for visits, ensuring the correct materials/literature on-hand, catering, etc.). Manage correspondence and other incoming mail relating to the Reston office location and ensure timely responses are made. Partner with Workplace Services leadership and team to ensure consistency in culture and operations of all offices in North America.
Your Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, ideally supporting C-level executives (specifically HR).
- Confidentiality: Strong ability to manage sensitive, confidential information.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting correspondence and reports.
- Technology: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and virtual meeting tools.
- Proactivity: Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
- Gatekeeper: Strong gatekeeping skills and managerial courage to ensure CPO is most effective in her role.
Base Salary Range: $108,000 — $145,000 USD
