NEW TECHNICAL PRODUCT MANAGER JOB – Southampton (Hybrid)

Location: Southampton – Hybrid

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain product strategies and roadmaps aligned to customer needs and business objectives
• Identify new product opportunities and capability gaps through market and competitor analysis
• Act as a technical authority during customer engagements, bids, and proposal activities
• Translate customer and market needs into clear, structured technical requirements
• Define product scope, performance parameters, and acceptance criteria
• Lead and coordinate cross‑functional teams including engineering, systems, quality, and programme functions
• Support product development from concept through design, development, qualification, and in‑service support
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across the product lifecycle

Requirements

• Experience in product management, systems engineering, or technical programme leadership
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management and systems engineering principles
