Job Description:

The Regulatory Outsourcing Officer manages the governance, risk, and compliance framework for third‑party arrangements, ensuring adherence to regulatory obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementing and executing outsourcing policies, frameworks, and procedures to mitigate risks.
  • Keeping abreast of evolving regulatory requirements (e.g., Central Bank of Ireland, EBA, FCA) and assessing their impact on business operations.
  • Maintaining oversight of third‑party vendors and service providers, supporting due diligence and risk assessments.
  • Preparing reports and management information for committees and senior management.
  • Monitoring KPIs and identifying metrics for successful outsourcing controls, identifying problems promptly.
  • Supporting contract negotiations, coordinating contract contents with the legal department and stakeholders.
  • Planning and risk analysis of outsourced arrangements, coordinating with other functions and assessing criticality and materiality.
  • Managing outsourcing risk, including concentration risk.
  • Coordinating meetings to address provider shortcomings.
  • Maintaining the outsourcing register and providing awareness and training on outsourcing.
  • Designing monitoring and control measures and producing annual status reports for management.
  • Overseeing and coordinating outsourcing as a first‑line defence control function.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in business administration, economics, business law, law, or a comparable field.
  • Expertise in the financial services sector.
  • Knowledge of drafting contracts, including SLAs and KPIs for service provider monitoring and control.
  • Proven experience in IT service management.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills.
  • Adept communication and influencing skills, and assertiveness.
  • Financial savvy and results driven.
  • Analytical and commercial mindset.

Hybrid Working Expectations

Our policy aligns with client expectations. Most clients require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office (client or our office) and 2 days from home. Some clients require up to 5 days in the office. Candidates must be flexible to meet client demands.
