SEND Tutor (Primary & Secondary) – Flexible Hours – Brighton & Hove

Job Type: Part-time / Full-time
Pay: £30-£42 per hour (DOE)
Location: Brighton & Hove (face-to-face tutoring)
BrightTeach is seeking dedicated SEND Tutors to support children and young people with additional needs across Brighton & Hove. This role is ideal for qualified teachers or experienced educators who are passionate about personalised learning and inclusive education.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver 1:1, in-person SEND tuition
- Create bespoke, student-centred lesson plans
- Set and review SMART learning targets
- Support both academic progress and emotional engagement
- Maintain session reports covering attendance, behaviour, and progress
- Follow safeguarding procedures and complete risk assessments
- Attend CPD sessions and multi‑agency meetings where required
Who We’re Looking For
- QTS-qualified teachers or experienced SEND practitioners
- Experience supporting learners with SEND (primary, secondary, or post-16)
- Strong communication and subject knowledge
- Enhanced DBS (Update Service) or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to work independently and travel locally
