An established and highly respected engineering-led contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Project Engineer (Electrical Bias) to support the delivery of major Data Centre projects across the West London / M4 corridor.
With a significant pipeline of secured work and long‑term client relationships, this is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist team delivering complex, mission‑critical environments.
The Opportunity
You will play a key role in supporting project delivery from technical coordination through to commissioning, with a particular focus on electrical systems, controls, and BMS integration.
Working closely with project managers, subcontractors, and the supply chain, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring technical excellence and smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of electrical packages across Data Centre projects
- Coordinate design, installation, and commissioning activities
- Manage and liaise with subcontractors and specialist supply chain partners
- Oversee controls and BMS integration across systems
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and ensure compliance
- Assist in programme management and project reporting
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover processes
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer within MEP / building services
- Strong electrical bias with good understanding of mechanical interfaces
- Experience with controls systems and BMS integration
- Background in Data Centres or other critical environments like healthcare etc is preferred
- Strong supply chain coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, high‑value project environment
