Lead Project Engineer

Lead Project Engineer for a major Offshore Wind Project based in The UK

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate engineering inputs/outputs for project development, through optioneering and initial design phases, to delivery.
• Chair regular engineering meetings to drive design and support collaboration between engineering disciplines.
• Chair engineering risk meetings to identify and manage engineering and quality risks and opportunities.
• Drive design maturity and delivery of scope to the required quality and programme, including input to the programme.
• Ensure compliance with relevant specifications and policies; where compliance is not possible, support resolution through the Deviation from Specification process.
• Manage design changes in line with the change control process and prepare relevant forms and documentation.
• Coordinate information gathering for Works Information (WI) packages.
• Manage the Technical Query (TQ) register for engineering during delivery and coordinate to ensure all contractor deliverables are reviewed and signed off.
