Pay Rate: £37.49 per hour (Umbrella)Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent (via Agency)

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Repairs Supervisor to join a leading social housing provider in South London. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term role with the potential to go permanent, working through a reputable agency.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of operatives carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance
• Manage workloads, allocate jobs, and monitor performance to meet KPIs and SLAs
• Carry out pre- and post-inspections to ensure works are completed to a high standard
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies
• Liaise with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues efficiently
• Manage materials, subcontractors, and budgets effectively
• Produce reports and maintain accurate records of works and performance

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar Repairs Supervisor role within social housing or property maintenance
• Strong knowledge of responsive repairs and maintenance services
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Good understanding of health & safety legislation (e.g., CDM regulations)
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
