Senior Groundworks Estimator in London

We are currently recruiting for a well-established civils subcontractor specialising in groundworks and RC frame delivery across London and the South East, and they’re looking to bring in a Senior Estimator to strengthen their pre-construction team.

This is a business with a strong pipeline of secured work, delivering large-scale residential and mixed-use developments, typically working alongside leading developers and main contractors.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in pricing and securing work across a range of groundworks and reinforced concrete packages, taking schemes from enquiry through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing detailed cost estimates for groundworks and RC frame packages
• Producing take-offs and Bills of Quantities
• Reviewing drawings, specs, and tender documentation
• Value engineering and identifying cost‑saving opportunities
• Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal teams
• Supporting bid strategy and commercial positioning

What They’re Looking For

• Strong background in groundworks and RC frame estimating
• Proven track record pricing projects from £5m–£50m+
• Confident working with drawings and technical specifications
• Commercially aware with a sharp eye for risk and opportunity
• Experience working with developers and main contractors
