What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing your own portfolio of individuals, HNWIs, landlords, sole traders, and more
  • Preparing personal tax returns accurately and efficiently in a high‑volume environment
  • Providing expert tax advice on CGT, residency, foreign income, buy‑to‑let, and other advisory areas
  • Acting as a trusted advisor, liaising with clients and HMRC
  • Handling tax enquiries and resolving client queries with confidence

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum two years’ experience in a personal tax role within practice
  • Strong understanding of UK personal tax compliance
  • Exposure to advisory areas such as CGT, xwzovoh BTL, EMI shares, and sole traders
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Commercial awareness and a client‑first mindset
  • Proficiency with tax software (ideally IRIS) and Microsoft Office

Preferred (Not Essential)

  • ATT qualified or part‑qualified (CTA also welcomed)
  • Experience with Trusts
  • Experience mentoring junior colleagues
  • Experience valued over formal qualifications — talent and capability matter most
