Data Science Engineer (DV Cleared)

Location: London or Manchester Security Clearance: DV Cleared Salary: Up to £80,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Science Engineer to support a growing Data Science function within a major public sector programme. You’ll be working on the design and development of robust data processing systems that underpin analytics, data science and machine learning use cases.

This role offers the chance to work on complex data platforms while collaborating with data scientists, engineers and stakeholders in a highly skilled multidisciplinary environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Designing, building and maintaining scalable data processing and integration services
  • Supporting Data Science and Machine Learning workloads through well-engineered software solutions
  • Developing high-quality, testable code using modern engineering practices
  • Working within secure cloud-hosted environments
  • Collaborating closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Strong interest in data, particularly Data Science and Machine Learning
  • Solid software engineering background with experience in Java, Python or TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms
  • DV Clearance in place

Location & Working Pattern:

  • Candidates must be aligned xwzovoh to either London or Manchester
  • Hybrid working
  • On-site attendance is required to meet client needs
