POWER BI ENGINEER
LONDON/HYBRID

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Power BI Engineer will:
Design and deliver Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets that support business decision making. Translate stakeholder requirements into clear, actionable visual analytics. Build and maintain semantic models, including measures, KPIs, hierarchies, and optimised DAX. Work with data engineering teams to source, transform, and model data from multiple systems. Use Power Query to shape and prepare data for reporting. Implement governance standards including row-level security, workspace management, and performance optimisation. Uphold data quality and best-practice modelling across the Power BI environment. Partner with commercial and operational stakeholders, presenting insights in a clear and accessible way.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Strong commercial experience developing Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets. Confident writing DAX and building performant semantic models. Strong SQL capability and the ability to work with complex datasets. Experienced connecting Power BI to a range of data sources including SQL databases, Azure environments, Excel, and APIs. Skilled in Power Query for data transformation. Able to work independently, prioritise effectively, and communicate insights to non-technical audiences. Experience in the retail sector is beneficial. Awareness of the wider Microsoft data ecosystem, including Microsoft Fabric, is a plus. xwzovoh
