Payroll & HR Administration Officer – Surrey (Hybrid) – Up to £35k p.a.

They are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll & HR Administration Officer to join their team.
The role will be responsible for end-to-end in house monthly payroll using Iris software. You will be responsible for calculating SSP, SMP, holiday pay, pensions and associated benefits. You will use BACS to pay net salaries and PAYE/NIC, provide payslips and will offer advice to employees and respond to payroll queries.
You will also be responsible for payroll & HR administrative work including starters, leavers, offer and contract letters, recruitment administration and ad hoc reports.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role.

Requirements:
- Solid experience within in house UK payroll preparation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised and attention to detail
- Strong administration and data entry skills
- BACS payment experience
- Strong payroll software skills including Iris and strong working knowledge of Excel
