Financial Adviser – South East London | Client-Focused, Relationship-Led Firm
We’re working with a growing, Chartered Financial Planning firm based in South East London, currently managing £100m+ AUA and targeting significant growth over the coming years.
They are now looking to add an additional Financial Adviser to the team — not just to handle demand, but to play a key role in the next phase of the business.
The Opportunity
This is not a “cold desk” or sales-heavy role.
You’ll be working with an existing client base, warm introductions and firm-generated leads — focusing on delivering high-quality, long-term financial advice rather than chasing new business.
The role is centred around:
• Building and maintaining trusted client relationships
• Delivering holistic financial planning advice (retirement, investments, estate planning, protection)
• Conducting regular client reviews and ensuring plans stay on track
• Working closely with a strong internal support team
• Using modern technology and AI tools to streamline admin and research
Over time, you’ll also have the opportunity to:
• Grow your own client bank through referrals and introductions
• Develop specialist areas of interest
• Contribute to client events, seminars and wider business growth
What They’re Looking For
This role is as much about who you are as what you’ve done.
They’re looking for someone who:
• Builds trust naturally and communicates clearly
• Is empathetic, calm, and comfortable discussing sensitive life situations
• Enjoys working closely with people and making a genuine difference
• Wants to be part of a collaborative, close-knit team
• Is open to using technology and modern ways of working
Experience-wise, they’re open to:
• Qualified Financial Advisers (Level 4 Diploma / CAS)
• Individuals working towards qualification
• Or people from people-focused backgrounds (e.g. education, healthcare, social care) looking to transition into financial advice
What’s on Offer
• Competitive employed package / structure
• Strong flow of existing clients and internal referrals
• Full paraplanning and administrative support
• Access to established systems, compliance and infrastructure
• Ongoing support with qualifications and development
• A genuinely supportive, modern working environment
• Office based in South East London with flexibility
Why This Role?
This is a business that prioritises:
long-term client relationships over short-term sales
quality of advice over volume
people and culture over corporate structure
If you’re looking for a role where you can genuinely build relationships, make an impact, and grow with a business — this is worth a conversation.
If of interest, apply directly or reach out for a confidential discussion.
