Data Engineer

Job Title: Data Analytics Engineer

Location: Rocester, UK (Onsite)

Duration: 3 Months

Start: ASAP

Day Rate: £350 – £400 per day (Inside IR35)

Key Responsibilities

• Build batch/streaming pipelines (PySpark, Spark SQL, DLT)
• Develop bronze–silver–gold data layers
• Implement CDC, optimisation, and data quality controls
• Orchestrate workflows via Databricks Jobs
• Deliver dimensional models and BI-ready datasets
• Support governance (Unity Catalog), CI/CD (Git, Terraform)

Skills Required

• Strong Databricks & Spark (PySpark/Spark SQL)
• Experience with Delta Lake & performance tuning
• Knowledge of DLT/streaming pipelines
• CI/CD (Git, Terraform)
• Solid SQL & data modelling

Desirable: Tableau or similar BI tools
