SAP Consultant

A leading global consulting and technology firm helping organisations transform finance functions through strategy, data, design and cloud-enabled technology.

We are seeking SAP Consultants across a broad experience spectrum to support finance transformation programmes.

The role combines hands‑on SAP S/4HANA Finance design and delivery with client advisory, solution architecture input and business development.

You will help clients define the case for change, design future finance processes, build S/4HANA‑enabled solutions and drive adoption to realise measurable value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to design and delivery of SAP S/4HANA Finance transformations, ensuring solutions deliver tangible business outcomes.
• Translate finance strategy and requirements into end‑to‑end process designs and solution blueprints.
• Support pursuits: respond to RFPs/RFIs, develop proposals, and shape client-facing point‑of‑view materials.
• Drive stakeholder engagement across finance, IT and executive teams; build trusted advisor relationships.
• Collaborate with technical architects and delivery teams to align configuration, integrations (non‑SAP where applicable) and cutover approaches.
• Ensure delivery quality, benefit realisation and smooth adoption through pragmatic change and rollout plans.
• Coach and develop junior consultants and contribute to internal offering and capability development.

Essential experience & skills

• Proven delivery experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) in consulting or industry projects.
• Practical ability to design finance processes end‑to‑end and map them to S/4HANA capabilities.
• Experience leading finance workstreams or playing a senior hands‑on role in large transformation programmes.
• Strong client engagement, proposal and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working in matrixed environments and collaborating with technical teams.
• Flexibility for client assignments and travel; eligible to live and work in the UK.

Desirable

• Experience with S/4HANA solution architecture, integrations with MM/SD or non‑SAP finance solutions.
• Track record in proposition development, thought leadership or bid-winning activity.
• Certifications in SAP Finance / S/4HANA or related accreditations.
