Senior UI/UX Designer & Frontend Developer (Mobile • Figma • React) – Global Legal Tech

A rare opportunity to join one of the world’s most respected legal brands—part of the industry’s magic circle—as they build a next‑generation, AI‑driven SaaS platform redefining how global legal teams operate. This is a mature, well‑funded product environment with deep investment in automation, cloud‑native engineering (Azure), and modern product delivery.

We’re hiring a Senior UI/UX Designer & Frontend Developer who thrives where product design meets engineering. This is a genuine 50:50 hybrid role: you’ll define the product’s visual language and user experience and build the front‑end that powers a mobile‑first, AI‑enabled platform used by thousands of legal professionals worldwide.

Key requirements:

  • Proven UI/UX design experience for mobile and SaaS products, backed by a strong portfolio.
  • Deep expertise in Figma, prototyping tools, and modern design workflows.
  • Advanced front‑end engineering skills with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS—comfortable owning complex UI builds end‑to‑end.
  • Experience working in cloud environments (Azure preferred) and modern Agile/DevOps teams.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and cross‑browser behaviour.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, product‑focused mindset.
  • Ability to work 30% onsite in London, 70% remote.

What You’ll Own:

  • Design intuitive, mobile‑first interfaces for a global SaaS product used across complex legal workflows.
  • Build high‑quality front‑end experiences using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS within a .NET ecosystem.
  • Translate complex requirements into elegant, user‑centred solutions, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and legal SMEs.
  • Run usability testing, gather real‑world feedback, and iterate with purpose.
  • Champion accessibility and consistency across platforms (WCAG).
  • Integrate with backend services (C#, Azure) and contribute to API‑driven development—ideal if you want to broaden your backend exposure.
  • Maintain and evolve design systems and component libraries to support scale.

Why This Role Is Different:

  • Shape a flagship global product used by top‑tier legal teams.
  • Join a mature engineering culture with real investment in AI, automation, and cloud‑native tech.
  • Own both design direction and front‑end architecture—a rare level of influence.
  • Work for a globally recognised, stable brand with long‑term vision and backing.
