About the Client:
Our client is a goods distributor seeking Warehouse Operatives to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The client operates a large warehouse equipped with facilities such as a canteen, smoking area, free parking, and lockers.
Role Overview:
We’re seeking skilled Reach Truck Operators to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role involves moving, storing, and picking stock using PPT equipment, alongside general warehouse duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving, sorting, and unloading incoming stock
- Picking orders and handling dispatch paperwork
- Operating Reach trucks for stock movement and storage
- Performing pre-use safety checks on equipment
- Accurate picking and stock placement using paperwork
Requirements:
- A valid Reach truck certificate
- Previous experience operating Reach machinery
- Physically fit with the ability to perform manual handling tasks
- Strong attention to detail for paperwork accuracy
- Good communication skills with managers and team members
- Basic computer skills for data entry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
