Job Title: Lead Cyber Security Presales Consultant

F5 are delighted to be partnering with one of the biggest Technology Consultancies in the UK, an award-winning business that works with major organisations across the country.
They are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Presales Consultant, one with extensive experience building Cyber Security solutions within the Public Sector, specifically Central Government and Defence. You will own presales engagements ‘end-to-end’ as well as provide Technical SME input into ongoing Bids.
You can be based anywhere in the UK, however you will be expected to travel to client sites across the country on a hybrid basis, with typical sites being in Bristol, Manchester, London and Birmingham (expensed).
Experience Required
- Strong presales and proposal development experience.
- Previous experience leading/managing RFI and/or RFP responses.
- Extensive background working within the Public Sector (e.g. Central Government and Defence), ideally via a large Technology/Digital Transformation Consultancy.
- Experienced in designing complex, multi-tower IT/security solutions for public sector bids, including Managed Services.
- Excellent knowledge of HMG Cyber Security Frameworks/Standards (e.g. NIST, Secure by Design, ISO 27001 etc.)
- Excellent communicator with effective stakeholder engagement. You can articulate business benefits, cost reduction, and outcomes with ease.
- Expertise in technical scoping in topics such as SOC, Threat Hunting, Security Tooling, Cloud Security, and IDAM.

Given the clients you will be supporting, candidates need to be eligible for at least SC clearance, with active security clearances being greatly preferred – especially those with active DV clearance.
