Role Overview
The role involves leading and delivering strategic projects focused on data warehousing and customer diagnostics. The candidate will work closely with CTIO (Chief Technology & Information Officer) and CxO teams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, data governance, and business objectives. This position requires strong technical expertise, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end delivery of data warehouse and customer analytics initiatives.
- Define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with CTIO and CxO to align on technology strategy and data architecture.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies to senior leadership.
- Technical Expertise:
- Design and implement data warehouse solutions (ETL, data modeling, performance optimization).
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards.
- Develop frameworks for customer behavior analysis, segmentation, and predictive insights.
- Integrate diagnostic outputs into business decision-making processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with business analysts, data engineers, and BI teams to deliver actionable insights.
- Coordinate with infrastructure and security teams for system integration.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare executive-level dashboards and reports for CTIO/CxO review.
- Maintain detailed documentation of architecture, processes, and KPIs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Skills:
- Proven experience managing large-scale Data Warehouse (DWH) projects, including design, development, and deployment.
- Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with:
- Open Metadata for data governance and cataloging
- Tableau for data visualization and reporting
- Amazon Redshift for cloud-based data warehousing
- Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration
- dbt (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and modeling
- Expertise inETL tools, SQL, and data modeling.
- Familiarity withBI tools(Power BI, Tableau) andcustomer analytics frameworks.
- Leadership & Communication:
- Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders (CTIO/CxO level).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience:
- 8+ years in data engineering, analytics, or related fields.
- Prior experience in large-scale enterprise data projects.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- PMP or PRINCE2 for project management.
- Data governance or cloud certifications (Azure/AWS/GCP).
